Il Tartufo

Il Tartufo, Bangkok - Prepared by Thaiaholic
Travel Period: March 2010

BBQ lovers can enjoy fresh from the grill on Friday and Saturday night at the courtyard in front of the restaurant.

If you love Italian food at Fuzio then you gonna love this place. The former chef at Fuzio had left the fancy hip restaurant to open his own home-style Italian ristorante in Sukhumvit 51.

Il Tartufo had transformed an old house in Hi-End Sukhumvit area to be a hub for gathering. The restaurant had been decorated with vibrant of yellow color that creates bright atmosphere that matches the white linen on the table. Locals and expatriates come here for set lunch and other specialties from chef’s premium import goods from Italy.

My friend and I had 3 courses set lunch. I really enjoyed their tomato soup. It’s totally breath taking when pairing with their bread. The food here is homey delicious with a twist of fusion garnish. While we were having our meal, the restaurant manager always rotates table by table to check whether everything is all right. How attentive?! We would love to come here again in the evening to check out the BBQ night at chill out patio.

Enter Sukhumvit 51 and straight down til the end and will be on your right.
