An Ocean Theme Hotel In Pattaya - Dusit D2

As far as I know Dusit D2 is in Chiang Mai, a orange brand with contemporary thai design hotel.
When I arrived at the Dusit D2 Baraguda Pattaya, I have no idea of whether I was checking in a hotel or checking in a cruise cabin. The blue ocean theme design is so impressive. Hotel has given us a strong sense of urbane touch of weaving through from the lobby into the room.

The check in counter is a boat shape with a bar at the back and customer can enjoy a drink at the same time for checking in their room. The first impression on arriving, the staffs are very friendly. They provide excellent service which can tell from their smile and their details description on their premises.

The Hotel was opened on Feb 2009. With total of 72 guest rooms including suite, the design of the room is bravo. Open bathroom concept is very popular in design hotel, but they also combine with ocean features, which makes the room very cool but cozy. If you think the bathroom is too open, shower curtain is on request.

The location of the hotel is just opposite to Marriot Resort & Spa Pattaya. There is a new shopping mall – “The Avenue” is sit right next to Dust D2 Baraguda Pattaya, which provide a lot of Entertainment such as
Bowling, Karaoke, Starbuck Coffee, Mcdonalds, Irish Pub and Cinema. 10 minutes walk from the hotel, you can also visit the Asia Largest Beachfront shopping mall – “Central Festival”.

For night life, you can stay in the hotel because the hotel outlet is very famous in local, such as the “Deep Bar”, “Sunset Lounge”. They are also the signature of the hotel.

As a frequent traveller, I believe this is a hotel provide me a clear message of their design on my first step into the hotel. Plus the feeling on the day time is totally different to the night time. I should say one journey with 2 experiences. Pay for a room stay in a cruise cabin.
